Waxwork and composer \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHarry Manfredini\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e re-visited the original analog tapes in an effort to faithfully master the complete soundtrack for vinyl. \u003cstrong\u003eFRIDAY THE 13TH PART 3\u003c\/strong\u003e includes every musical cue featured in the film and encompasses two 180-gram LPs clocking in at nearly one hour of chilling audio which serves as a dark musical backdrop to one of the most beloved franchises for horror fans.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOriginally released in 1982 and in 3-D, \u003cstrong\u003eFRIDAY THE 13TH PART 3\u003c\/strong\u003e is the first film to feature the legendary slasher, \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eJason Voorhees\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e, wearing his signature hockey mask. This image of a machete-wielding, hockey-masked killer became the trademark for the franchise, as well as an iconic image in American cinema and horror films in general.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo keep in tune with the original 3-D theatrical release of the film, Waxwork created a deluxe quality \u003cstrong\u003e3-D lenticular mounted album cover\u003c\/strong\u003e for the heavyweight old-style tip-on gatefold jacket which houses two LPs featuring the complete soundtrack.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWaxwork Records incorporated the lost, deleted final scene of the film into the inner gatefold illustration.
