Built around the local music, scenery, and the filmmaker's spoken reflections captured on the tape, it sets the tone for a remarkable musical journey. The album also features the quintessential oriental-flavored cha-cha-cha \"Moonlight Cha Cha,\" a cover of Yo La Tengo's \"Our Way to Fall\" sung by mmm, and the Korean folk song \"Heung Taryeong,\" performed by renowned Gyeonggi folk singer Lee Heemoon, who is active in both Korea and Japan. Also included is \"1990 Cuckoo Orchestra,\" a longtime staple of VIDEOTAPEMUSIC's live repertoire, which samples a home video of the artist performing the \"Cuckoo Waltz\" on a melodica as a child, creating a musical dialogue across time.
