Composer Andrew Landry’s delightfully surprising soundtrack evokes both the game’s playful sense of whimsy and its propensity for unexpected secrets. On disc one: A set of relaxing day-themed tracks, perfect for kicking back or for jumping into a synth-powered trance of productivity. On disc two: Things get decidedly spookier, with a set of funky-but-frightening song selections from the game’s nighttime soundtrack.

And of course, it wouldn’t be an iam8bit release without spectacular art. Artist cobcris provides a stunning, two-sided album concept; one side day, one side night, reflecting the two discs waiting for you just inside the jacket. Open up, and you’re greeted by the gorgeous interior art from Jacqueline Li, depicting another hard day’s work from Hank and friends.
