Illustrator Hiroshi Nagai is known for his masterpieces of record jackets such as Eiichi Otaki's "A LONG VACATION'' and "NIAGARA SONG BOOK,'' and his clear tropical landscape illustrations are a symbol of "city pop.''

A self-confessed vinyl junkie/soul surfer, he has released a compilation of TKRECORDS, which he has been listening to and DJing for many years! Of course, the artwork is also by Hiroshi Nagai!

"My first encounter with TK was in 1974 when I heard George McCrae's "Rock Your Baby'' on FEN and bought the LP at Melody House (Takeshita Street, Harajuku). When I went to America for the first time a year before that, I bought a lot of records by Philly (PIR), and TK had an image and admiration for Florida and the Caribbean, and I started liking their bright sound. At that time, a magazine called "SOUL ON'' published a "favorite single chart'' with Teruhiko Yumura, and I've been collecting 7-inch records ever since. This time, we selected two titles, "For Lovers Only,'' which is only sweet soul, and "Party Freaks,'' which is a collection of funky tracks, based on the flow of actually DJing and the arrangement like making a mixtape.・Configured.
