VIDEOTAPEMUSIC's full-length album "NOISE FACE LANDSCAPE" is finally coming to vinyl.

The album opens with "1000 Years Ago," a track inspired by a home video shot during a trip to China in the 1990s that unexpectedly came into VIDEOTAPEMUSIC's possession. Built around the local music, scenery, and the filmmaker's spoken reflections captured on the tape, it sets the tone for a remarkable musical journey. The album also features the quintessential oriental-flavored cha-cha-cha "Moonlight Cha Cha," a cover of Yo La Tengo's "Our Way to Fall" sung by mmm, and the Korean folk song "Heung Taryeong," performed by renowned Gyeonggi folk singer Lee Heemoon, who is active in both Korea and Japan. Also included is "1990 Cuckoo Orchestra," a longtime staple of VIDEOTAPEMUSIC's live repertoire, which samples a home video of the artist performing the "Cuckoo Waltz" on a melodica as a child, creating a musical dialogue across time. Together, these eight tracks form a richly textured and deeply rewarding listening experience.

The album was mixed by Toshihiko Kasai, with mastering and lacquer cutting by Dave Cooley. The cover artwork was created by Thailand-based Korean artist Dohee Kwon. One of this year's standout releases, this is an album you'll definitely want to experience on vinyl.
